How To Fix If Hp Printer Printing Blank Pages ?

    I am having a very weird issue with my HP wireless printer. Every time, I try to print something from it. It is giving me an output of completely blank pages. 

    I did try to print through my iPad as well but shows me the same blank pages. What should I do to fix the hp printer keeps printing blank pages.

    About six months ago, My printer was printing blank pages, at that moment, I did a few things to troubleshoot the problem: 

    • Cancel all print commands from the printer queue.
    • Power off the hp printer for 10 seconds and then turn it back on.
    • Reboot your computer as well.
    • Wait until the hp printer idle.
    • Now try to make a print again.

    You should always start by inspecting the ink cartridge on your printer. Because so many times, people fall in with hp printer printing blank pages trouble due to the empty cartridge. 

    You may check the ink cartridge label on your printer by looking into the hp printer assistance. 

    For better understanding, I am sharing the instructions below. 

    1. Connect your hp printer directly to the PC.
    2. Let’s open the hp printer assistance.
    3. Look at the right-side corner. you will able to see ink icon. just click on it.
    4. Now you will able to see the available ink level on your ink cartridges.

    If your ink cartridge is empty, you have to refill it or replace it with the new cartridge. 

    After installing the ink cartridge, you have to reboot your printer once, and then print something again. I am sure it will work this time.

    Troubleshoot HP printer keeps printing blank pages on mac pro – 

    If you are unable to print something from your hp printer using the mac pro, you need to click on the instructions given below. 

    • Go to the system preference.
    • Click no the print & Fax.
    • Select Option & supplies and click on the supplies tab.
    • Now you will able to see the ink label.
    • Cancel all print jobs & copy an image or document-
    • Let’s cancel all print jobs available in the queue and then open a notepad. Let’s try to print now.

    Hp printer printing blank page issue can be occurring due to the multiple reasons like- ink cartridge issue, printer header issue or driver issue, etc.

    But the good news is, it’s not very hard to fix it. I am going to tell you the way to fix the printing issue.

    Diagnose the ink label-

    Firstly, you should diagnose the ink label on your printer.  If you have low ink in the toner, it can be the most valid reason behind why your hp printer is printing completely blank pages.

    Check the ink label using hp printer control panel-

    • Look for the ink icon or ink cartridge icon on the hp printer control panel.
    • Now Click on the Ink label menu

    Check ink label on the printer using windows OS-

    • Open the hp printer smart app or hp printer support app whatever you have on your computer.
    • On the top right side, you will able to see the toner icon, and it will be showing the ink label.

    Check The Ink on the Printer using MAC os-

    • Go to the system preference.
    • Click no the print & Fax.
    • Select Option & supplies and click on the supplies tab.
    • Now you will able to see the ink label.
    • Cancel all print jobs & copy an image or document-
    • Let’s cancel all print jobs available in the queue and then open a notepad. Let’s try to print now.

    Is it printing something or not?

    Also, Reboot the printer and then put an image or document on your printer. Now copy it.

    If it can copy fine, then you need to proceed to the Guide 4 directly.

    Otherwise, proceed to the next guide.

    Reinsert the ink cartridge-

    Ensure that the ink cartridge is correctly installed into your printer. Most of the time, People are dealing with the Hp printer printing blank pages due to the installation issue.

    So you need to remove the ink cartridge from the printer and re-insert it.

    Power on the hp printer.
    Open the exterior panel.
    Wait until the printer goes to the sleep or idle mode.
    Now press down the ink cartridge gently to remove it, do the same process to remove another one.
    Now insert the ink cartridge gently, to ensure the proper installation, you will hear the click sound.
    Finally, you need to reboot the printer once.

    Guide 4 – Reinstall the printer driver –

    If your hp printer can copy the files correctly but printing the blank pages. This can be the driver related issue.

    In such a moment, you should uninstall the hp printer driver from your computer.

    Now Reboot your computer and printer once, after that you need to download the new driver and install it.
